Jodi Knapp’s Hypothyroidism Solution Review: 4-Week Plan Overturning Hashimoto

Jodi Knapp's 4 week Hypothyroidism Hashimoto Plan

Do you have Hashimoto thyroiditis or an underactive thyroid?

Well, if you have Hashimoto, in this page you will find my Hypothyroidism Solution review. This plan was created by Jodi Knapp.

I highly recommend Jodi’s plan because it’s very easy to follow, the price is affordable, and the supplements that she recommends are few. In the third week you start to feel better.

If you do have an underactive thyroid you can read my Hypothyroidism Revolution by Tom Brimeyer here.

Hashimoto Thyroiditis & Underactive Thyroid (Hypothyroidism) Difference:

Are you wondering what’s the difference between underactive thyroid and Hashimoto thyroiditis?

Here is the difference between Hashimoto Thyroiditis and an Underactive Thyroid…

At first I was really confused on what’s the difference between the two.

When your body doesn’t produce enough thyroid hormones, the condition is called hypothyroidism or underactive thyroid.

Whereas, in Hashimoto thyroiditis, your immune system attacks your thyroid. Your immune system sees the thyroid as an intruder and therefor it’s attacking the thyroid. Since your thyroid is being attacked, it can’t function well. As a result, your body won’t produce enough thyroid hormones. Then it will often lead to hypothyroidism.

Hashimoto thyroiditis is an autoimmune disease. It is called “autoimmune” because your body is fighting against itself. It is the most common cause of hypothyroidism in the United States.

If you or your loved one has been diagnosed and is suffering from Hashimoto thyroiditis and you are looking for natural remedy, I will recommend Jodi Knapp’s Hypothyroidism Solution.

But you might be wondering — what’s in Jodi’s plan for healing thyroiditis?

Hypothyroidism Solution PDF (Ebook): Inside Details

The Hypothyroidism Solution is in PDF format (ebook). Jodi explains it really well in her plan. She uses everyday language in such a way  that you and I can understand.

Part 1: Getting to Know Your Thyroid

You will learn from Jodi the what, why, and how our thyroid works. You will learn the symptoms, causes and how hypothyroidism is diagnosed. She also tells the risk of leaving hypothyroidism untreated.

She also discusses treating hypothyroidism with medication such as:

  • T3 medication
  • T4 medication
  • T3 and T4 medication

Part 2: Autoimmune – Your Body Under Attack

Jodi explains about acute and chronic inflammation. Inflammation can be the root cause of hypothyroidism. She also lists the symptoms to look out for which indicates that your body may be inflamed and going towards autoimmune; or your immunity is stressed and begins to misbehave.

She introduces the principles of immune-healing lifestyle to get your immune system back on track using her 4 main pillars of health that supports your entire well-being.

Click Here → Begin your immune-healing lifestyle for overcoming Hypothyroidism (Hashimoto)

Part 3: Hypothyroidism: Causes and Solutions

In this section you will learn how the bacteria, diet, environment, and stress can cause hypothyroidism.

Jodi Knapp explains in details the 4 pillars of health — one by one. She discusses the solutions that will create a lifestyle that supports your immune system and your thyroid.

She explains the importance of your gut health where your immune system’s  work  begins. She says maintaining a healthy gut is clearly essential for our entire well-being.

You will also learn about the anti-nutrients in food that will make us sick. But you don’t have to avoid them completely. Jodi reveals the solutions and methods on how to prepare these foods to destroy the anti-nutrients.

The methods she mentions will not only improved how well the gut can digest these foods but also lead to positive changes.

You do have to avoid this most common anti-nutrient — gluten.  She says that the wheat available today bears very little resemblance to the wheat cultivated by our ancestors. She gives a list of foods to take the place of wheat.

She encourages eating plant-based protein. She strongly emphasized this diet. It improves overall health and longevity. Study after study has confirmed this. The more vegetables you eat, the healthier you become. It’s a Biblical diet.

I love that she has well emphasized the use of plant-based protein. You will be thrilled to see her recipes included in her ebook. You can overview her list of recipes below this article.

Pesticides can disrupt the function of our gut. You will find 2 lists of foods:

  • Clean 15 (produce with the least amount of pesticide residues)
  • Dirty Dozen (produce with the most amount of pesticide residues)

You will also find a list of gut-friendly foods (prebiotic and probiotic) and how to use them and add them to your diet.

Jodi also includes gut healing supplements. Sometimes you need a little extra help, especially if you’re struggling with an autoimmune condition like Hashimoto’s.

We have heard so many conflicting ideas in internet and books about good and bad foods for hypothyroidism. But Jody will clarify this for you.

You will also find a list of alternative / healthy foods to replace sugary foods.

She also talks about the relation of fats with your thyroid. Bad fats promote inflammation. Jodi discusses different kinds of fats. She reveals what fats to avoid and she also has a list of best fats to balance your thyroid.

You will also find out in Jodi’s Hypothyroidism Solution ebook several essential natural thyroid-friendly supplements that will help your thyroid to function at its best. She also includes the recommended daily dosage plus the food sources.

Our environment also plays a big part in our health. Our environment is a lot harder to control. You find toxic chemicals everywhere — in our food, water, toiletries, etc. Toxic chemicals in our environment are endocrine disruptors.

You will learn to avoid things that will harm your thyroid. She teaches ways on how to keep yourself safe from these toxins that are brought about by our environment and from things that we use in our daily life.

Stress brings impact to your thyroid too. Stress will increase your body’s levels of inflammation which will worsen the autoimmune issue you may have.

It’s unfortunately impossible to avoid stress altogether. You can change the way you react to stress.

Fortunately, Jodi offers some strategic ways on how to cope with stress. She also adds stress-busting supplements that you can use.

Part 4: Your 4-Week Thyroid Healing Plan Holistic Approach to Overturn Hashimoto

In this 4-week period thyroid healing plan, it’s time to put your knowledge into practice and begin supporting your thyroid. A holistic approach is what’s going to make the most difference.

In order to heal, here are your goals:

  • Restore your gut: gut health is central to immune function.
  • Transform your diet: removing gut stressors and inflammatory foods, adding immune boosting and thyroid supporting foods and supplements.
  • Clean up your environment: removing toxic products and helping your body detoxify.
  • Reduce your stress levels: better sleep, meditation, gentle exercise and making relaxation an important part of your day.
As part of your 4-Week Thyroid Healing Plan, you’ll keep a food diary to help you identify your food sensitivities. You will find a Food Diary form that you can print towards the end of the ebook.

It is important to listen to your body and be mindful of how your body reacts to certain foods.

Click Here → Begin your 4-week plan to heal your Hypothyroidism (Hashimoto)

Week 1

This week is about preparing your body for healing, and relaxation is a big part of that.

Jodi will teach exactly what things need to be done in this first week.

Week 2

This week you are going to switch to a more whole foods diet. It’s time to change what you eat. Eat a whole foods plant-based diet. You need to avoid the inflammatory foods and toxic products.

You need to get rid of toxic products in your home and replace them with the healthy alternatives. She includes a list of what are these toxic products found in your home. Of course, a list of alternatives is also available.

Before you start feeling depressed that you’re not going to be able to eat your usual diet, Jodi assures you that it’s not all doom and gloom. Healing your gut and your thyroid can be a delicious experience.

Trying new foods and new recipes can be fun and an activity that the whole family can enjoy.

What’s more, once your gut begins to heal, you will no longer experience digestive discomfort or bloating that is so common with a leaky gut.

And, as you heal your gut, you reduce your levels of inflammation, strengthen your immune system, better absorb nutrients, and help your thyroid get back to normal.

She gives you a list of foods you can enjoy as part of your thyroid healing diet.

She also gives you a daily menu suggestion for 7 days using the healing recipes she included in her ebook. She gives you tips so that you won’t be spending ages in the kitchen.

You are also going to start taking the thyroid boosting supplements which she lists down.

Jodi will tell you precisely what to do this week.

Week 3

By this week, you’ll begin to experience the benefits of clean eating. You may notice that you are feeling better and have increased energy.

Unfortunately, this is when many people are tempted to go back to their old eating habits.

If you feel hungry, eat. Just choose foods that are unprocessed and refined sugar free. There are plenty of snack ideas in the Recipe section — keep some in your bag, desk drawer or car glove box to avoid being caught short.

This week you keep eating clean and taking thyroid supporting supplements.

Jodi will guide you on what you need to do this week.

Week 4

In this final week, keep eating clean, taking the supplements, etc… These are things you will need to carry on in order to keep soothing your immune system and healing your thyroid.

It’s not a race – you didn’t get hypothyroid overnight, and it won’t go away overnight either. The body needs time, love, and care to return to a state of total wellness.

You have gone this far, give yourself a treat like purchasing a book or a new dress.

Jodi will introduce to you the benefits of intermittent fasting. Don’t let the word ‘fasting’ scare you. It is done during sleep time.

Jodi wants you to ramp up the anti-inflammatory effect of this eating plan by adding in some gentle intermittent fasting.

Jodi’s Hypothyroidism Solution Plant-Based Diet Plan for Hashimoto – My Thoughts:

I certainly favor Jodi Knapp’s plant-based diet plan in healing Hashimoto. The plant-based diet is a Biblical diet which I adhere to.

There are so many health gurus and magazines out there advising the use of animal protein to treat hypothyroidism.

But many hypothyroid sufferers are looking for a plant diet to overcome their underactive thyroid.

One thing that I would also like to add — Jodi’s weekly plan is very easy to follow. Plus, her supplements regiment only needs a few. . . . . The price of her ebook is also very affordable. It is reasonably priced at $49.00.

Stop the suffering and start the healing. The sooner you begin the sooner you can restore your health.

It’ll be one of the best decisions you’ve ever made.

If your hypothyroidism symptoms haven’t gone within 60 days from buying this program you can ask for a refund and no questions asked!

The Hypothyroidism Solution Review – Dr. Duncan Capicchiano eBook (PDF)

The Hypothyroidism Solution ebook by Duncan Capicchiano

herbsI just found out this natural therapy for hypothyroidism. When I found this I was so curious because it includes Hashimoto’s disease which I have, so I bought it. So here’s my review for “The Hypothyroidism Solution” by Duncan Capicchiano, ND.

For most of us, the price for the Hypothyroidism Revolution (which I highly recommend for those who have underactive thyroid) is too high.

So I have been searching for proven natural hypothyroidism treatment plan that is more affordable. I also want my visitors to have available choices on what product that they want to have.

The Hypothyroidism Solution Review

“The Hypothyroidism Solution” Review: Main eBook (PDF)

I purchased “The Hypothyroidism Solution” eBook for $37.

The ebook, in pdf format, has 13 chapters and 100 pages.

It is authored by Dr. Duncan Capicchiano, ND.

I’m going through the chapters and give you a brief overview of each chapter so that you will have an idea what’s in the ebook and what to expect.

Chapter 1 – Let’s Open the Hood

Dr. Duncan talks about what is hypothyroidism, types of hypothyroidism, thyroid hormones, symptoms of underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism) and its causes.

He is giving education to the hypothyroid sufferer for better understanding.

Chapter 2 – Test and Solve

In this chapter you will be able to find out: “How do you now if you have hypothyroidism?”

Dr. Duncan discusses 3 necessary blood tests so that you can request your doctor that you need the 3 tests. Unfortunately, doctors will only do 1 blood test. So you will need to tell your doctor that you need the other 2 blood tests.

He also includes the Thyroid Tests table so that you will know what does it mean when you receive the result of the blood tests.

He also included other crucial blood tests that your doctor doesn’t know about it.

You will also find 2 other blood tests that will help you to determine if your hypothyroidism is caused by an auto-immune condition. This condition is known as Hashimoto Disease.

Duncan also includes suggestions so that you can get accurate blood tests. Getting an inaccurate test is possible.

Chapter 3 – The Western Model

Duncan discusses about how the Western doctors treat the hypothyroidism — of course, with drugs. He also listed the side effects from using these drugs for treating hypothyroidism.

He also mentions the use of desiccated thyroid gland as the ‘other option’ that people consider it as a superior one. But he believes there is a better way of treating hypothyroidism…

Chapter 4 – The Natural Way

Duncan discusses the causes of hypothyroidism that medical doctors don’t have a clue. He lists the causes of hypothyroidism.

He also included list of vitamins, minerals and amino acids that help the thyroid hormones.

Chapter 5 – The Thyroid Support Squad

The Hypothyroidism Solution support squad is composed of the following: nutrition and herbal medicine.

A. Nutrition

Duncan discusses the importance of nutrition – which is the basic building blocks of life.

He specifically lists different minerals and vitamins for thyroid health. He also mentions that iodine helps a lot. In this chapter, his list includes 13 vitamins and minerals with therapeutic dosages, thyroid benefits, sources and facts.

He is urging the patient to eat a variety of foods rich in natural organic compounds such as vitamins and minerals which you can get from fruits and vegetables.

B. Herbal Medicine

Duncan also lists herbs that will benefit in helping the thyroid. He also includes other names of the herbs, part used, actions, dosage, cautions and contraindications.

Chapter 6 — The Treatment Plan “Bringing It All Together”

This chapter of The Hypothyroidism Solution covers the 2 Natural Treatment Plans:

  1. Hypothyroidism Treatment Plan
  2. Hashimoto Disease Treatment Plan

Each of the plan mentioned above has the following series of phases:

  • Phase 0 (Ground Zero) – The Cleanse
  • Phase 1
  • Phase 2
  • Phase 3
  • Phase 4

Phase 0 – Preparation Phase

We are all surrounded with toxins.

In Phase 0, Duncan recommends the patient to begin the treatment with detox or cleanse.

When your body is clean it can really absorb the nutrition from the vitamins, minerals and herbs that you are going to take for hypothyroidism treatment.

Click here → to find out the Hypothyroidism Solution Natural Healing Plan

Phase 0 – 2 Detox Plans:

You will find 2 detox plans in his ebook. But which one is right for you?

  1. The 9-Day Cleansing Diet – This is for those who have no auto-immune condition. This is best to start on a weekend which you have 2 days in a row at home where you can stay relax.
  2. Integrative Detox Protocol – This is for those who have Hashimoto Disease

1. The 9-day Cleansing Diet- Quick Overview

This cleansing diet includes food ideas what to eat, and plus recipes.

Of course, there is a list of foods that you have to avoid during the cleansing or detox.

A way to relax is also included and other optional extras to help your liver.

2. Integrative Detox Protocol – Quick Overview

As what I have mentioned earlier, this cleansing is for those who have Hashimoto disease — immune dysregulation. You will be cleansing the parasites with the use of herbal formulas that Duncan suggests.

Duncan recommends 4-week treatment with this detox for cleansing the parasites. But he does recommend to have alongside the 9-day Cleansing Diet.

If you will get discomfort you need to increase your water intake.

But if it’s too much for your body, Duncan’s advice is to stop the cleanse at once.

Phases: 1 – 4

Each phase of treatment has duration.

Duncan recommends vitamins, minerals and herbs for each phase to strengthen the thyroid gland and also for solving other health problems that are causing the hypothyroidism or Hashimoto.

And he also gives a list of resources where to obtain the supplements.

Chapter 7 – The Foundations

This chapter is very short – it has only 1 page.

Duncan mentions the 4 main foundational pillars for treating the thyroid:

  1. Diet
  2. Lifestyle
  3. Exercise
  4. Relaxation

Chapter 8 – Food Glorious Food

This chapter covers the Hypothyroidism Diet. You will find a list of foods and liquids to include and to reduce.

You will also find recipes with ingredients and direction on how to prepare. There is also a sample of 1 week menu.

Duncan also includes an optional home remedy for thyroid therapy to boost your iodine levels.

Chapter 9 – Juicing

He discusses the importance of raw juicing. He also includes tips to get started and what powdered supplements to add for extra health boost.

You will also find what best fruits and vegetables for liver, maintaining blood sugar levels, blood cleansers, improving immunity, for sweetness with fruits with the lowest glycemic index.

Juice gives you plenty of energy and it also helps your liver for cleansing.

Chapter 10 – The Secret of Goji Protein Shake

Duncan explains the goodness of the Goji Protein Shake in restoring your health. You will enjoy this best tasting medicine while healing.

You will find an example recipe of making a berry protein shake.

Chapter 11 – Lifestyle

This is another short chapter — it’s only 1 page.

Duncan list a dozen of good lifestyle practices

Chapter 12 – Good Vibrations

Duncan explains the importance of exercise and he lists the benefits of moving more.

He offers 6 guiding principles of exercise.

Chapter 13 – Chill-lax

Duncan offers 8 ‘easy as a pie’ relaxation techniques.

You will also find 3 Meditation Exercises with instruction on how to perform them.

My Final Thoughts and Comments

I do like the Hypothyroidism Solution by Duncan because it also covers Hashimoto Disease.

But I hate the detox or cleansing part — this will really make me sick. But Dr. Duncan says that it can be customized. I really have no idea how to customize it.

The supplements that Dr. Duncan recommends for you to take do not include any desiccated thyroid gland from animals. If you are a vegan or vegetarian this might be perfect for you.

But Dr. Duncan’s Hypothyroidism Solution recipes in his cookbook and also in the main ebook do call for animal products. But he has noted for vegetarians to substitute the animal products with suitable vegetarian alternatives such as: tempeh, tofu, eggs etc.

Dr. Duncan also noted to the readers that they don’t need to buy each and every supplement that he recommends. He explains that if you find a supplement formula with 2 or 3 supplements from his recommendations, you can use that formula instead.

In his list of supplements he doesn’t mention what brand to buy but he has a separate list of reputable supplement companies. I found this time consuming because I have to search which brand to buy that has no fillers. Supplements with fillers disrupt your thyroid.

With Hypothyroidism Revolution supplement plan the supplements are available from Tom’s company. His supplements have no fillers.

What I like about the Hypothyroidism Revolution by Tom Brimeyer is the 60 Daily Guide — because I know exactly what I need to do daily. But it is not designed specifically for people with Hashimoto’s.

But the Hypothyroidism Revolution hormonal supplements have been helping me tremendously. It has given me a quality of life that makes my living better before I had tried the plan.

For my Hashimoto healing I follow Dr. Isabella Wentz’ protocol. There’s no detox. She says that detox is very stressful for people with Hashimoto. I love everything in her plan for treating Hashimoto but it involves so many lab tests; and it is very costly too. But it’s worth it.

The problem that I have been dealing with Hashimoto’s is the eczema on my face. I was so concerned because it was not healing. When I started following Dr. Isabella’s liver support using the recipes and lemon beverage — it’s starting to heal and fading.

Hope my review for “The Hypothyroidism Solution” helps you in your search for healing your thyroid naturally.

Thyroid Nodules Treatment & Symptoms

Doctor checks thyroid nodules

Over the past decade, thyroid nodules treatment has come a long way. The understanding of the thyroid disease and dysfunction has improved considerably and most doctors consider it when making a diagnosis.

Thankfully, my thyroid nodule (goiter; right side of my neck) has reduced significantly from following Tom Brimeyer’s Hypothyroidism Revolution Program.

In the past, it was thought that thyroid nodules were extremely rare. Consequently, few doctors looked for thyroid problems early on in the diagnosis process.

Today, it is understood that the condition is actually quite widespread, so doctors actively look for lumps on the thyroid, and do so far sooner than they would have done in the past. In the US, around 2% of men and 6% of women have nodules or little lumps on their thyroid gland.

These nodules are usually benign, so they are rarely life threatening. However, once they have developed they can have a significant negative impact on your health and therefore your life.

What are Nodules on the Thyroid?

OK, first a brief explanation of what nodules on the thyroid actually are:

Simply put, these lumps are made up of clumps of cells that have mutated. Another way is to think of them as clumps of malfunctioning cells that have grown slightly bigger than normal.

Usually the lumps are made up of damaged thyroid cells. This means that sometimes these cells continue to act as they did when they were healthy, they continue to release the hormones the body needs to metabolize food and produce energy. However, because the cells have mutated they function incorrectly. This means that they release the wrong amount of metabolizing hormones.

This leads to either hypothyroidism, or the far rarer condition of, hyperthyroidism. Hypothyroidism is an under active thyroid condition. Hyperthyroidism is an over active thyroid. The first condition leads to weight gain the second condition to unexplained weight loss.

Again, it is important to note that these clumps of mutated or malfunctioning thyroid cells are usually benign. However, occasionally they become cancerous, so never ignore the symptoms of lumps on your thyroid.

Occasionally these lumps will turn out to be fluid filled cysts rather than clumps of mutated cells.

Thyroid Nodule Symptoms – What they are How to Spot Them

Some symptoms of thyroid nodules include the following:

  • neck tenderness
  • difficulty of swallowing
  • hoarse voice
  • a feeling of fullness, pain or pressure in the neck

Unfortunately, thyroid nodules are not that easy to spot. However, if you are vigilant, you will be able to spot the early signs and get treatment sooner rather than later.

Often you will be able to feel or see lumps on your thyroid. The lumps are not usually painful, so you are unlikely to notice them without actually looking for or feeling for them. If you are thin, you are far more likely to see the lumps.

It is a good idea to examine your thyroid gland periodically feeling for any lumps. You do not have to press hard. However, you are far more likely to notice other thyroid problems and symptoms before the lump appears.

The thyroid gland is responsible for producing thyroid hormones which regulates several essential functions in the body. When impaired, the thyroid gland can produce too much thyroid hormones (hyperthyroidism) or lesser than the normal level required by the body (hypothyroidism) and can therefore result to several other serious medical conditions.

An enlarged thyroid gland can signal that your body is producing too much — or too little — thyroid hormone.

Spot them early and get them treated and you will soon recover and your health and life will return to normal.

Self-Test: Thyroid Nodules, Lumps

I just read a magazine and found this self-examination on how to spot an enlarged thyroid, nodules or lump:

  • Hold a mirror so you can see the front of your neck. (Your thyroid is below Adam’s apple, above your collarbone.)
  • Take a sip of water and hold it in your mouth. Still looking at the thyroid area, tip your head back — and swallow the water.
  • If you notice any bulges, ask your doctor for a blood test to check your thyroid levels.

Thyroid nodules treatment is required when patients experience abnormal enlargements in the thyroid gland which often appears on the surface as large lumps in the throat. Unlike cysts which are found to be bladder-like sacs that contain fluid, and that are found to grow normally on certain glands like the thyroid gland, nodules on thyroid caused by abnormal lesions often require medical attention.

However, since thyroid nodules and thyroid enlargements are often mistaken for normal cystic growth, they are often left unattended.

When any thyroid nodules symptoms or signs are observed – such as an enlargement of the thyroid, it is wise and prudent to immediately seek its treatment before it can complicate into even more serious problems.

Types of Thyroid Nodules

There are several kinds of thyroid nodules that can grow in the thyroid gland. Some of these types may not necessarily manifest symptoms. Nonetheless, they affect the hormone production of the thyroid gland which results to several indirect symptoms like weight loss, rapid heartbeat, weight gain, depression, frequent fatigue, among others.

Some of the more common types of thyroid nodules are:

  • Follicular Adenoma
  • Thyroid Cyst
  • Inflammatory Nodule
  • Colloid Nodule
  • Thyroid Cancer
  • Multinodular Goiter

Thyroid Monitoring

If the thyroid lumps are found to be benign and are not causing the patient any discomfort, the doctor may opt to simply monitor the thyroid growth for a period of time instead of treating it. During observation and monitoring period, any changes in size, and development of other symptoms related to thyroid dysfunction are carefully noted.

In some instances, nodules and thyroid lumps disappear on their own. In the event that it does not, further test and exams may be undertaken to re-evaluate the condition, rate of growth, and severity of the symptoms, which may be further used as the bases for actual treatment.

Thyroid Nodules Treatment

A patient with enlarged thyroid gland or having thyroid nodules  have several treatment options.

1. Nodule Drainage

If, after medical examinations and tests, the doctor finds that the thyroid nodules are nothing more than normal fluid-filled cysts, the most common option for treatment is to drain the fluid to reduce the enlargement or inflammation and lessen the discomfort.

2. Surgical Removal of Nodule

Cysts are oftentimes normal and harmless. However, they can cause discomfort to the patient, requiring the doctor to relieve the symptoms of discomfort by fluid drain. In some cases, however, the cyst can persist to grow again. In the event that the cysts grows back, the patient may need to have his or her thyroid nodule surgically removed.

3. Hormone Suppression Therapy

In cases of Hyperthyroidism, or when the thyroid glands produces too much hormones, synthetic hormones may be prescribed to regulate the rate of hormone production of the gland which is also responsible for the growth of the thyroid.

Hormone suppression therapy, however, are known to have side effects. Patient and doctor must consult and discuss the downside and upside of the therapy before it is undertaken.

It might be careful to note that hyperthyroid prescription medicines aimed to reduce thyroid enlargement may eventually lead to the dysfunction of the thyroid glands, causing it to produce less hormones than what the body normally requires. Therefore, while it addresses the problem of an overly stimulated thyroid gland, it also poses a potential risk for hypothyroidism.

4. Radioactive Iodine Treatment

Another common treatment for hyperthyroidism – and ultimately, to reduce the thyroid enlargement – is with Radioactive Iodine Treatment. Radioactive iodine is a form of iodine identical to non-radioactive iodine used to make thyroid hormones. Unlike non-radioactive iodine though, radioactive iodine, commonly called radioiodine, contains radio active energy that helps slow down the production of thyroid hormones when it is taken into and collected by the thyroid gland.

Swollen Thyroid or Nodules Test

Your doctor will perform or order  test to sort out your thyroid nodules. However, most thyroid lumps can be treated non-invasively. You need to consult your doctor.

And there is also a lot you can do by using helpful ways to assist yourself with your  doctor’s approval by following a diet, exercise, and lifestyle plan.

Personal Story: My Goiter Has Reduced

I asked my doctor about what’s the growth on my neck. He responded to me that it’s a goiter.

Before the NatureThroid medication, I could see there’s a spot that is slightly bulging on the right side of my neck.

After 3 months of NatureThroid treatment, my doctor checked my thyroid and he said, “The size has decreased significantly.” I was so happy for that good news. I could only see the goiter when I tried to swallow my saliva.

Unfortunately, the doctor stopped the NatureThroid treatment because of the heart palpitation. With his approval I tried Hypothyroidism Revolution program.

Just after 2 1/2 weeks on , while I was riding in our car  I tried to swallow my saliva. I checked my neck on the mirror and I could barely see the goiter — the size of my goiter has further reduced.

I have found the Hypothyroidism Revolution program is a very good product that many people have used to help them also to cope with the symptoms of hypothyroidism. You can find out more about it – by clicking the link below.
